Plumbing Costs
This bulletin addresses plumbing costs common to commercial and industrial interior improvements. The costs presented here are an average of those received in response to a survey of local plumbing contractors.The pricing is presented in a "rule of thumb" context; several factors will affect the actual cost on your project. These are: a) project size b) actual conditions on the site c)number of quotes received and d) market forces at the time of bid.
The basis of the following line items #1 through # 8 is: A sawcut of a concrete floor connection to an existing sewer line within ten feet of the finished installation location, water supply tapped from within the building and reasonably close at hand,venting, furnishing and installing the fixture, backfill of the trench, compaction doweling of trench edges and concrete placement and finish.
Fixtures: American Standard or equal. Note that for items (3) through (7) pricing is predicated on a minimum of (1) toilet (either # 1 or # 2)being installed. - if a toilet is not being installed then $1,050.00 must be added to the unit costs of items (3) through (7). If you have a general contractor managing your project all pricing will be slightly higher.
